Delivery windows define when a stop can be visited during the day (for example 9:00 AM–4:00 PM). RoadWarrior uses them when optimizing so routes respect customer or business availability.
Delivery windows vs recurring schedules
These are different concepts in RoadWarrior 2.0:
| | Delivery windows | Schedules (recurring routes) | | --- | --- | --- | | What it is | Time range when a stop can be visited | Route that repeats on set days (Mon/Wed/Fri) | | Example | Deliver only between 8:00 and 11:00 | Same territory every Monday | | Guide | This page (coming soon) | Schedules for stops |
What to expect when delivery windows launch
When this feature is ready, this guide will cover:
- Setting delivery windows on individual stops
- Saving hours on favorites (legacy Manage Hours) and applying them when a favorite is added to a route
- How Optimize treats strict vs flexible windows
- Mobile and web workflows
Legacy support docs used tap Stop → Add Schedule for per-stop time ranges. That behavior moves under delivery windows in 2.0.
