Optimization reorders the stops on your route to minimize drive time. RoadWarrior accounts for traffic, speed limits, and the route settings you choose. You can run optimization with defaults or adjust settings first.

What does optimization do?
When you tap Optimize, RoadWarrior calculates an efficient stop sequence for the route you have open. It uses road network data and your route preferences to reduce time on the road compared with a random or manual order.
Optimization does not add new stops. Every stop on the route must have a valid address (or coordinates) before optimization can succeed. If optimization fails, see Optimized stop limit and check that no stops are missing location data.
How do I optimize a route?
After you add stops to your route:
Open the route on the Planner Map or List View.
Tap Order Stops at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Optimize to run optimization with your current settings (defaults if you have not changed them).
Review the Route Summary that appears with drive time and distance for the optimized order.
You can run Optimize again after you add, remove, or move stops. Running optimize again replaces the current stop order with a new optimized sequence.
