Missing route data

Find routes that disappeared after sync, archive, or switching devices.

Routes can look missing after you sign in on a new phone, run a sync, or open a route list that no longer shows older work. Causes differ: sync delay, plan limits, or archived routes that no longer download to every device.

Start with Syncing and devices if the issue appeared right after you signed in or switched phones.

Try a manual sync first

Basic (Free) routes stay on the device where you created them. They do not sync to another device. If you expected cross-device access, confirm you are on Pro in Plans and pricing.

Auto-archived routes

When confirmed, this section will explain:

  • How long before an inactive route archives
  • Whether archived routes still appear on the phone that created them
  • Why a new device may show an empty or shorter route list

Restore archived routes from the web app

This ties to the open item in Syncing and devices for restoring missing routes on a new device.

Routes look incomplete (missing stops)

If a route appears but stops are missing or data looks partial:

  1. Run a manual sync on Pro and reopen the route.

  2. Confirm you are signed in with the same registered email on every device.

  3. Check whether the route was archived or created on a different device under Basic (Free).
