Duplicate a route

Copy an existing route and its stops to start a new run without rebuilding from scratch.

Duplicating a route creates a new route based on one you already built. Use it when you run the same territory daily, want a backup before big edits, or need a fresh copy without moving stops one by one.

To copy selected stops onto another existing route instead, see Add stops from another route.

What can I include in the copy?

When you duplicate, choose what carries over:

| Option | What you get | | --- | --- | | All Stops | Every stop on the route, including stops you already checked in on the source route. | | Active Stops | Stops that are not checked in yet. Checked-in stops are left off the new route. | | No Stops | Route settings only (travel mode, avoids, start time, and similar options) with an empty stop list. |

The new route is named Route Name - Copy. Rename it after duplicating if you use a date or driver name in the title.

Method 1: Copy from an open route

Use this when you already have the route open on the map or in list view.

  1. Open the route you want to duplicate.

  2. Tap New Route (or the equivalent create-route action from the open route).

  3. Choose Copy Active Route.

  4. Select All Stops, Active Stops, or No Stops.

  5. Open the new route (Route Name - Copy) and adjust stops or run Optimize as needed.

Method 2: Copy from the Routes list

Use this when you are browsing saved routes and are not inside the route yet.

  1. Open the side menu and go to the Routes tab.

  2. Tap the route you want to duplicate.

  3. Choose Copy Route and pick All Stops, Active Stops, or No Stops when prompted.

  4. Open Route Name - Copy from your route list.

After you duplicate

The copy is a separate route. Changes on the original do not sync to the copy and vice versa.

Run Optimize on the new route if stop order or drive times should recalculate. See Optimize and route settings.
