Before you can assign routes, each driver needs a place on your Teams account. Drivers run routes in the RoadWarrior mobile app. You add and manage them from the Teams web portal at flex.roadwarrior.app.
If you have not set up Teams yet, start with RoadWarrior Teams overview.
Before you invite drivers
- You need an active Teams plan. See Plans and pricing and Pricing.
- Each driver uses their own login. The Teams plan covers their mobile access. They do not need a separate Pro subscription.
- Each driver uses a paid seat. Adding a driver increases your monthly bill. See Manage Teams billing and Pricing for current seat rates.
Invite a driver (dispatcher)
At a high level:
Sign in to flex.roadwarrior.app as the dispatcher for your team.
Open the driver management area for your team (exact label TBD).
Add a new driver and send an invite using the driver's email address (or the identifier your portal requests).
Confirm the driver appears on your team list before you assign routes to them.
After the driver is on your team, assign routes from Build and assign routes.
What the driver does next
Once invited, the driver:
Installs the RoadWarrior app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), if they have not already.
Signs in with the account credentials tied to the invite (same email or login the dispatcher used).
Opens the app and waits for assigned routes to appear after the dispatcher sends them from Teams.
If the driver is new to RoadWarrior, see Create your account for general sign-up tips. Teams coverage applies to drivers on your plan; they should use the login your team provisioned, not a separate solo Pro purchase.
Remove a driver from your team
Dispatchers can remove or deactivate drivers from the Teams portal when someone leaves the fleet or no longer needs access.
Removing a driver does not delete their historical route data from your team's reports automatically. Contact support@roadwarrior.app if you need help with access or data retention questions.
Still stuck?
Email support@roadwarrior.app with your team name, the driver email you tried to invite, and a screenshot of the portal screen you are on.
