Dispatchers build routes in the Teams web portal at flex.roadwarrior.app, then assign each route to a driver. Assigned routes appear in that driver's mobile app right away.
Start with RoadWarrior Teams overview if you have not set up Teams yet. Drivers must be on your team before you assign work. See Invite drivers to your team.
Build a route
You can add stops to a Teams route the same ways solo Pro users upload data on the web:
| Method | Notes |
| --- | --- |
| Add stops manually | Type or search addresses one at a time in the portal |
| Paste addresses | Paste a list of addresses and import them into the route |
| Spreadsheet upload | Upload an .xlsx file from the web app. See Add stops from a spreadsheet |
| Carrier manifest | Import FedEx, OnTrac, or similar manifests when your build supports them (same web upload area as spreadsheets) |
Sign in to flex.roadwarrior.app.
Create a new route or open the route builder for the day (exact entry point TBD).
Add stops using one or more methods from the table above.
Optimize the route when you want RoadWarrior to order stops for drive time. See Optimize and route settings for how optimization works on mobile; Teams runs optimization from the web before assign.
Teams routes support up to 200 stops per route. See Plans and pricing and Pricing for current limits.
Split stops across drivers
When one day's stop list is too large for a single driver, you can split stops across multiple drivers from the Teams web portal.
At a high level, splitting produces separate routes (one per driver or per assignment group) that you can optimize and assign individually.
Assign a route to a driver
Open the completed route in the Teams portal.
Choose the driver who will run it (driver must already be on your team).
Assign or send the route. It appears in that driver's RoadWarrior mobile app without the driver retyping stops.
Drivers open the app, select the assigned route, and tap Navigate to start. See How to navigate.
Update a route mid-day
When you edit, add, or reorder stops on an assigned route in Teams, changes push to the driver's app in real time. Drivers see new stops and updated notes without a separate text thread.
For manual stop order on mobile after assign, drivers can use List View drag reorder unless the dispatcher re-optimizes from the web. See Manually order stops.
Per-stop notes for drivers
Add notes to individual stops in the portal before or after assign. Notes appear when the driver opens that stop in the mobile app. Notes are plain text only. See Stop notes.
Track progress after assign
After routes are live, use the Teams map to see driver locations and stop completion status. Overview: RoadWarrior Teams overview (live tracking section).
For completed-day records, see Export your data.
Still stuck?
Email support@roadwarrior.app with the route name, driver you assigned, and a screenshot of the Teams portal if something did not appear in the driver's app.
