Proof of delivery

Capture check-ins, photos, and signatures at stops, and review delivery records from the Teams portal.

Proof of delivery (POD) is the record that a stop was completed: check-in time, and when needed an optional photo or signature. Drivers capture POD in the mobile app. Dispatchers on Teams review visit records in the web portal and in exports.

Solo Pro drivers use the same capture flow on their own routes. This guide emphasizes the Teams workflow; for check-in basics, see Check-ins and history.

What gets recorded

| Record | When it is captured | | --- | --- | | Check-in time | When the driver taps Check In at the stop | | Photo | Optional, at check-in or immediately after (exact flow TBD) | | Signature | Optional, when the customer or recipient signs on screen |

Capture POD as a driver

Drivers on Pro or Teams assigned routes capture POD from the mobile app after they arrive.

  1. Open the assigned route and tap the stop where you arrived.

  2. Tap Navigate and drive using RoadWarrior navigation when you need POD saved to the route.

  3. When you arrive, return to RoadWarrior and tap Check In.

  4. If prompted, add a photo and/or signature to confirm delivery (optional on stops that do not require them).

With Pop Next Stop on, the next stop may open automatically after check-in. See Pop Next Stop.

Per-stop notes from the dispatcher appear when the driver opens the stop. See Stop notes.

Review POD as a dispatcher

Teams dispatchers can review completed stops in two places:

Live progress in the Teams portal

While routes are active, the portal map shows stop completion status as drivers check in. Use it to see which deliveries are done and which are still open.

See RoadWarrior Teams overview (live tracking section) and Build and assign routes.

History and exports

After the day or week, open the Reporting Tool on the web for check-in history and stop-level actions. Download spreadsheets for payroll, customer disputes, or billing.

See Export your data.

Fix or undo a check-in

If a driver checked in at the wrong stop, they may be able to Restore (undo) that check-in on the stop. See Restore check-ins.

If POD is missing entirely, confirm the driver used built-in navigation and completed Check In inside RoadWarrior before troubleshooting exports.
